Description

3M™ VHB™ Tape 5952 is a black, double-coated acrylic foam tape designed for high-strength bonding across a wide range of materials, including low surface energy (LSE) plastics, painted surfaces, metals, and other plastics. With a 1.1 mm (0.045 in) thick closed-cell acrylic foam core, the tape offers excellent conformability and ensures full surface contact for durable adhesion. The pressure-sensitive adhesive provides immediate handling strength while building a permanent bond that withstands temperature extremes, moisture, and solvents. 3M™ VHB™ Tape 5952 is widely used in industrial, automotive, and electronic assemblies, where it efficiently replaces rivets, screws, welds, and liquid adhesives.
