How To Choose The Right 3M VHB TAPE?

The 3M VHB tape is also known as the double sided tape that can bond two surfaces together that are made of different metals or materials. 

What Are the Features of 3M VHB Tape?

The 3M VHB double sided tape is foam tape that is bendable and flexible. It easily takes the shape or contour itself to provide the best adhesion to the uneven surface.

Thickness: The thickness of the tape can be another vital point. If the space is less then you should not use the thick tape also the thickness will result in making the device bulky. 

Temperature: The application and working temperature are different from the other environment. 

If the temperature is not ambient as per the datasheet of the tape then it might not adhere to the surfaces with enough strength.

Pressure: The 3M VHB tapes are pressure sensitive meaning to get the most adhesion these need some amount of pressure to be applied. 

Once the tape is onto the surface, use a roller to apply pressure to help it make a strong bond.

This is another area that requires high adhesion to provide safe and long lasting adhesion.
