GALDEN D05 PFPE Electronic Reliability Testing Fluid
Guaranteed Safe Checkout
GALDEN D05 by Syensqo is a perfluoropolyether (PFPE) electronic fluid used in electronic reliability testing and industrial heat transfer applications. Econtrol Devices is a trusted distributor, supplying GALDEN D05 for industrial use.
This colourless, odourless liquid combines dielectric properties with chemical and thermal stability. GALDEN D05 is used as the hot-bath fluid in dual-fluid thermal shock testing. Its typical boiling point is 230°C, while its pour point is −77°C.
Electronic Reliability and Thermal Shock Testing
Thermal shock testing evaluates how electronic devices withstand extreme temperature changes. During the test, devices are alternately immersed in liquids maintained at two different temperatures.
GALDEN D05 serves as the hot-bath fluid in this dual-fluid arrangement. The supplied technical brochure lists D05 for MIL STD 883 test conditions D and F, both using a hot-step temperature of 200°C. For condition D, the listed cold-bath fluid is GALDEN® DET. For condition F, the cold-bath medium is liquid nitrogen.
These listed test conditions describe specific thermal shock arrangements. The product’s boiling point and pour point are physical properties and should not be interpreted as a guaranteed operating temperature range.
