TMC-45 Specialty Fluid (PFAS FREE) is a PFAS-free, hydrofluoroolefin (HFO)-based cleaning solvent developed by TMC Industries and supplied by Econtrol Devices. It is a new HFO-based mixture of 1,2-trans-dichloroethylene and proprietary fluorinated compounds. The product was designed without HFC or HFEs for cleaning applications and serves as a direct substitute for solvents such as nPB, Chemours Vertrel®, 3M Novec®, HCFC-225, and others. The proprietary compound used in TMC-45 is not a PFAS substance as defined by USEPA or OECD.
