Material Compatibility

KRYTOX VPF fluids are inert and non-reactive to elastomers, plastics, and metals. Initial testing has shown no problems with Teflon™ fluoroplastic resin, Kalrez® perfluoroelastomer parts, Viton™ fluoroelastomer, nitrile, and silicone rubbers. The performance of soluble additives may degrade at temperatures above 182°C (360°F) over long periods.
