Econtrol Devices, an authorized distributor of TMC Industries products, offers TMC-7200 Engineered Fluid, a fluorinated engineered fluid designed for industrial cleaning, vapor degreasing, and heat transfer applications.

TMC-7200 is a miscible, drop-in replacement for 3M™ Novec™ 7200. It is a hydrofluoroether (HFE) solvent containing both structural isomers and is formulated for use in applications requiring low surface tension, low viscosity, and thermal and chemical stability.

The fluid is suitable for vapor degreasing, cold cleaning, specialty solvent applications, and heat transfer processes. According to TMC Industries, its boiling point is higher than that of most CFCs, HCFCs, and HFCs, helping reduce evaporative losses.

Key Features of TMC-7200 Engineered Fluid

  • 3M™ Novec™ 7200 Replacement: A miscible, drop-in alternative with comparable physical properties.
  • Low Surface Tension: Suitable for vapor degreasing and cold cleaning applications.
  • Low Viscosity: Designed for industrial cleaning and specialty solvent applications.
  • Thermal and Chemical Stability: Suitable for cleaning, heat transfer, and other industrial uses.
  • Non-Flammable: The manufacturer lists TMC-7200 as non-flammable and reports no flash point.
  • Boiling Point: 76°C.
  • Zero Ozone Depletion Potential: ODP value of 0.0.
  • Global Warming Potential: GWP value of 59.
  • RoHS Compliant: Listed as RoHS compliant in the manufacturer's Technical Data Sheet.
  • Reclaimable Fluid: Can be recycled and reclaimed by TMC Industries.
