Description

3M™ VHB™ Tape RP45 is a gray, double-sided acrylic foam tape featuring a multi-purpose acrylic adhesive on both sides of a 1.1 mm (0.045 in) thick conformable acrylic foam core. It provides strong, permanent bonding performance across a wide range of high and medium surface energy materials, including metals, glass, painted surfaces, and plastics. The RP45 tape belongs to the 3M™ VHB™ RP (Reliable Performance) family, which is designed for general-purpose industrial bonding applications requiring a balance of strength, flexibility, and durability. Its conformable foam ensures excellent contact between surfaces, even when they are slightly irregular or mismatched. This tape offers an easy, clean, and efficient alternative to traditional fastening methods such as screws, rivets, welds, or liquid adhesives, providing a smooth, aesthetically pleasing finish with long-term durability and moisture sealing.
