Description
The AMN31111 from Panasonic is a standard detection type passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor (PIR Motion Sensor) in the TO-5 package. This sensor detects a change in infrared radiation which occurs when there is a movement by a person or object by the change in the surrounding temperature. There are several conditions to sense targets such as temperature difference between target and surroundings should be 4°C, movement speed is 0.8 to 1.2m/s, and target size is 700mm x 250mm. Typical applications include lighting, Anti-crime devices, home appliances, commercial equipment, and audio and visual devices.
